Okay, I’ll admit it: I despise collages. Montages, on the other hand, can be pretty sweet.
Photographer and author Lee Frost says that “photographs can often gain power in numbers” and that “images linked by subject, theme or location can be much more capable of delivering a strong message than one image on its own.”
What he’s speaking of is a photo montage. Your subject can be just about anything, but some ideas might be to organize your photos by a common color, or maybe the photos are all extreme closeups, or perhaps they’re all geometric in some way. Just keep in mind all you’ve learned about composition when making your shots (think patterns, framing, etc.). Here are the project details:
