You are about to embark on a remarkable journey of self-exploration through poetry. Consume as much poetry as you can – there are free refills, after all – and don’t be afraid to try something new off the menu. Enjoy!
Here’s a copy of the Café San Marco Menu, in case you need one or some extra menu sheets. Remember, fill out as much as you can on a daily basis. Write or draw a picture of an emotion your associate with the poem, words the poem makes you think of, a line or phrase that struck you, a connection to your own life, a memory the poem evoked, or any other way you would like to respond. You’ll get credit for completing your menu during the unit.
