The Choir Club is a group of students, alumni, staff and other supportive community members who meet at least once a week to come together to sing songs from a variety of choral styles with the intent of having fun, learning about music and music theory, and eventually join with the established MTHS music and drama programs for possible performance opportunities. Additionally, the Club has the support and guidance of the incredible Music Boosters at Terrace.
As of the fall of 2023, there is no vocal music being offered at Mountlake Terrace High School. With a current student population of more than 1500, there is plenty of interest to warrant such a club. Since its inception in 1960, Terrace has had an incredibly storied history with regard to vocal music. This club is the first step to ensure vocal music once again returns to the established curriculum at Terrace.
